Hardware Node v.1.0

The development of the first Node.sys hardware node v.1.0 began in the summer of 2022 as part of our mission to integrate seamlessly with the Cellframe Network blockchain ecosystem. This marked the start of an exciting journey to bring decentralized technologies closer to real-world applications.

Our team focused on building a reliable, efficient, and compact device that could serve as the backbone for decentralized operations. The first hardware node devices stood out not only for their performance but also for their bold design, bright yellow and black bodies that symbolized innovation and resilience.

Under the hood, the hardware node v.1.0 featured:

CPU: Broadcom BCM2837 (4 cores, 1200 MHz)

Memory: 8GB

Network: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Gigabit Ethernet connectivity

Display: A responsive 3.5” touchscreen, plus HDMI output

Battery: Li-ion module with 2500 mA/h capacity for standalone operation

Connectivity: 4 USB ports for additional peripherals

The combination of these specifications allowed the hardware node to perform key functions within the Cellframe blockchain network. It offered stability, energy efficiency, and versatility, enabling users to validate transactions, support decentralized operations, and contribute to network security.

The first version was an important milestone for Node.sys, demonstrating our ability to develop robust hardware solutions from concept to reality.
