Development and quality

In 2020, AGRITECH built and launched a soy deep-processing plant in Almaty Region, Kazakhstan. This modern, high-tech production facility specializes in the manufacturing of soy protein isolate, marking a significant breakthrough for the country. The introduction of this technology is a new milestone for Kazakhstan, paving the way for the development of a food biotechnology sector in the region. The company has trained specialists, including technologists and laboratory experts, to ensure the high-quality production of soy protein. The facility has also created over 70 jobs.

The plant has an annual production capacity of up to 2,500 tons of soy protein isolate. This ingredient is a dry powder extracted from soybeans, consisting of 90–95% pure protein while containing minimal carbohydrates and fats. Soy protein isolate is a high-quality protein source, providing all essential amino acids necessary for growth. It is comparable in quality to animal-based protein but contains less than 1% fat and is free from cholesterol and saturated fats, making it a healthier alternative.

Soy protein isolate is widely used across various industries. It serves as a key ingredient in meat substitutes, protein powders, dietary supplements, energy bars, pet food, and other protein-enriched products. One of its main applications is as a dietary protein source for individuals looking to increase their protein intake. With 17 essential amino acids, soy protein is an excellent option for vegetarians and vegans who seek high-quality nutrition without relying on animal sources. Since it is odorless and tasteless, it can be incorporated into various products without altering their flavor. Different types of soy protein isolate offer unique properties such as solubility, viscosity, and gel formation, allowing for customized applications in different food products.
