KSK established in 2007 in Dalian, China, is a subsidiary of FULLTON MACHINERY GROUP. The company operates two major production workshops dedicated to foundry and forging, specializing in ductile iron, grey iron, and carbon steel castings. KSK Foundry manufactures both raw and machined components, ensuring consistent quality and reliability across its product range.
KSK Forging focuses on high-end metal forgings and is among the few enterprises in China capable of producing ultra-large ring-shaped and cylindrical forgings. The company has developed a complete manufacturing process that allows for the production of complex and heavy-duty components. Its expertise extends to wind power, thermal power, heavy machinery, marine applications, and industrial equipment, supporting various sectors with durable and precisely engineered parts.
The company has an independent team of engineers responsible for mold development, process planning, casting and forging production, machining, quality assurance, and logistics. KSK has developed proprietary material grades with enhanced mechanical and metallurgical properties to meet demanding service conditions. Its technical capabilities include the use of MAGMA simulation software, which assists in process design by simulating production before manufacturing begins.
KSK collaborates with leading universities, including Dalian University of Technology and Northwestern Polytechnical University, to advance research and development in casting and forging technologies. The company’s R&D team consists of 21 engineers, including senior specialists and experts with advanced degrees. This partnership strengthens innovation and supports the development of complex iron and steel castings with various material compositions.
One of KSK’s key technologies is its 13-meter heavy-duty ring rolling machine, which employs four-roller clamping and an adaptive multi-roll coordination system. This advanced equipment enables automated and precise rolling of large and complex ring forgings. With a maximum rolling diameter of 13 meters, height of 2 meters, and workpiece weight of 100 metric tons, the machine ensures high dimensional accuracy and uniform mechanical properties across production batches. Its closed-loop feedback system allows real-time adjustments, reinforcing KSK’s expertise in large-scale forging manufacturing.
