Nevlabs was founded in 2006 and has grown into a company with a team of 26 specialists, supported by external experts when needed. Over the years, the company has successfully completed more than 30 projects across diverse industries including healthcare, transport, retail, finance and education. This broad experience has allowed Nevlabs to combine software development with engineering and production, creating solutions that address both digital and physical challenges.
The company focuses on three main directions. First is software development, where Nevlabs delivers custom solutions for clients in multiple sectors. Second is process automation, which includes optical sorting systems for food production and robotic complexes for packaging and rejection tasks. Third is engineering, where the team participates in technically demanding projects that require integration with industrial equipment. This combination of expertise allows Nevlabs to operate at the intersection of IT and manufacturing.
A distinctive part of Nevlabs activity is the modernization of foreign optical sorters. Many imported machines, even from well-known brands, rely on outdated vision algorithms and fail to detect a wide range of defects. Nevlabs offers upgrades that replace the vision camera and control unit while keeping the original conveyor and mechanical parts intact. By applying artificial intelligence algorithms, the quality of sorting improves significantly, while costs remain much lower than purchasing a new machine. The company also develops its own optical sorters and robotic systems, including the high-speed delta robot Extremum, designed for sorting and packaging tasks with flexible configurations and localized production.
Another important direction is the creation of machine vision systems for quality control. These systems use neural networks to detect defects that traditional solutions cannot identify, bringing inspection closer to human-level recognition. Depending on client needs, Nevlabs integrates cameras, control cabinets and software with external systems or adds actuators to remove defective products. With this approach, the company combines software, robotics and vision technologies into comprehensive solutions that support industries such as food processing, automation and advanced manufacturing.
