Smorgon Silicate Concrete is one of the largest producers of construction materials in Eastern Europe. Throughout its long history the company has demonstrated stability in quality and consistently delivered competitive, energy efficient and environmentally safe products. Certificates of compliance confirm the high standards of production, and since 2009 the enterprise has operated an occupational health and safety management system in line with ISO 45001:2018 together with an environmental management system in line with ISO 14001.
The company’s products are in steady demand across construction markets of Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, the Baltic states, Poland and Germany. Entire residential districts, cottage settlements, administrative and cultural complexes have been built using its materials in Warsaw, Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Murmansk, Kaliningrad, Kyiv, Lviv, Vilnius, Kaunas, Daugavpils, Riga and many other cities. In Minsk, the National Library, the railway station, the Arena sports complex, the Victoria hotel, the XXI Century business center and numerous residential areas along Pobediteley Avenue were constructed with its materials.
The product range includes autoclaved aerated concrete blocks that meet STB 1332-2002 standards and are used as permanent formwork elements for monolithic lintels and reinforced belts. Technical characteristics include compressive strength class not less than B2.5, density grade D500, frost resistance of 35 cycles, thermal conductivity not more than 0.12 W/(m K), shrinkage not more than 0.5 mm/m and moisture content not exceeding 35 percent. Silicate bricks are manufactured according to GOST 379-2015 and STB EN 771-2-2014. They are durable, non combustible and suitable for both exterior and interior walls. Production is carried out on traditional revolver presses as well as modern hydraulic presses from Japan.
Concrete mixes are produced in accordance with STB 1035-96 and are intended for monolithic and composite structures or for precast concrete elements. Strength classes range from C8/10 to C30/37 with water resistance grades W2 to W6 and frost resistance grades F100 to F200. Masonry mortars are manufactured according to STB 1307-2012 and are used for brickwork, leveling screeds and installation of building structures. Strength grades vary from M50 to M200 with frost resistance up to F100.
